It’s tough to navigate the digest. I was out for 10 days for using the B word. I did miss everyone. They sent me a letter that said that they wanted to keep the language at a level and base talk brings it all down. That makes sense. Other things don’t. Maybe it was just your turn for a “time out.”

Hey Big A, i recently had a big misunderstanding with Admin on what was explained in detail by Admin in the post pointing out my thought on the topic was wrong.

I did not respond right away even with the attempt of Jeremy to slander my name for not apologizing.

I got a good nights rest after thinking about all what was said excluding the spew from Jeremy and arrived at an appropriate response with a apology.

You may want to post an apology here in this thread, point out a win / win solution, copy and send a PM to Admin just in case he is not following this thread.

Big A I like reading your posts but what you just said is the problem that got you here in the Attic. The Admin sets the guidelines, and rules for posting and as you know there is a big difference between censorship and standards. If as you say "behaving is against my basic nature" then I am afraid you may end up staying in the attic. But Big A when all this blew up a couple months ago and there was talk of kicking you off the site altogether I was glad that you were just confined to the Attic where you could Post and sent PM. Tell you the truth I spend most of my time in the attic it is a place where you can express your thoughts freely. I have posted things in the attic that could have gone in the general chit chat simply because I enjoy my fellow attic dwellers and the discussions that take place in the attic. However I would say if you really want back on the whole site you will have to at least have to be willing to change your basic nature while on the "public" portions of this site and only be yourself in the attic., other wise just enjoy the attic and post fishing, and non-fishing posts in the attic and I am sure we will all enjoy them here as well and downstairs in the main area. What ever you do please don't do anything that will get you kicked off the site altogether I really would miss you.

I believe I am the one owed an apology ! Tried to explain (to no
avail) that it was NOT a deliberate snub of their rules, but just a slight confusion (senior moment ?) on
my part as to which section I was posting in, as I tend to jump all
around between sections !

Also told him he misinterpreted a remark I made - when I said I would take a chance and post something that may be banned, I was referring
to LANGUAGE used, not whether it was political or not ! I called some-
one by the 'b' word and was chided
for doing so, so I tried to re-post it
using the word 'skank' instead, and they jumped all over it for their so-called 'political' content ! Wasn't political to me - I truly despise the person mentioned in that post !

Apparently, there is no set time limit for being banned - still, as someone has already stated - 'the punishment has exceeded the crime' !

I was told “I make the rules” by admin. He/she doesn’t adhere to them but the rest (or some) of us are supposed to. When I mentioned that I was told to, basically, shut my trap or I would be gone. I enjoy too many of you guys to play their silly little games and end up kicked off so I just ignore most of it any more.
