Welcome to the Forum, red, A few guys are catching he!! from their wives, what were you referring to? They are getting a few walleyes and perch on the Miss. The Packers are catching he!! for letting Adams go. That's about it for me.

Welcome. You may want to check Lake Link, the latest edition of WI Outdoor News or check with the local bait shops as they would have the most recent intel.

Walleye season for the most part is closed right now until May with exception of most boundary waters and lake Winnebago and her tributaries
We are hammering them right now on the Fox and Wolf!

Walleye moving at lock #9, tailwater temp at 38 deg. Nights look to be colder so any locks should be productive for at least another week or so, maybe a short while longer !

Welcome to the forum Redonhead31. Most lakes are still icebound and I don't fish the rivers so I can't help you much. A little more information about what your target species are would help.

This time of year rivers are going to have fish biting. It's best to check with local bait shops and check the regulations of where you live. As for myself in Central Minnesota, inland lakes are only allowed to fish for panfish, that means driving to a border water. There again reading the regulations as to size, numbers and species. Also in Minnesota fishing for a species that the season is closed, will make your bank account lighter. Big NO NO, catch and release does not apply to closed seasons.
Good luck, If I could, My thought would be Green Bay, for large walleye. Good chance at that one for your trophy wall.
