Makes me miss being in the bay area fishing for stripers! Loved those kind of days. Used to work more of the Richmond San Rafael areas at Redrock, the sisters, the brothers, the brickyard, etc. Great stuff!

Hey AM28. PM me sometime and tell me more bout where you use to fish. I'm just not familiar with them and would like to learn more from somebody who has fished successfully in other places for stripers. Thanks.Saw1.

That's where my Grandaughter and I went fishing together ❤ for first time. She got a double hook up and many singles all too small to keep but great for a first timer. She will be 18 in May so hope to get over there for some bigger ones.

WOW! That's amazing. I was out there a few weeks ago with a buddy, no luck. We went out towards where is opens up, turned to the right near where there is an opening. What am I doing wrong? I would love to catch even a third of what you catch.

Hey flex. I believe I know where you're talkin about. If you go up that slough there are some tubes that empty into the slough on the right and if you keep goin aways further there is a blown out area on the left where there is some more tubes that are out of the water. Either of those places are good a little later in the year. Hit em a couple hours after the high tide starts goin out.
PM me if you wanna talk further.

Hey guys, got to the river bout 0830 and was fishin by 0845. Probly had boated 10 fish by 0915.
We fished hard till bout noon and called it a day a little after, maybe 12:10 or so.
We probly had boated 60+ fish and don't know how many we lost at the boat with the hook pullin out.
Biggest one of the day was Brads and it would have pushed the scale to 5 or 6 pounds BUT, the hook pulled out right at the boat and the fish was just out of reach of the net. OH well.
We kept 4 fish out of all the ones we caught. A 21, a 22 and two 23s. Biggest was bout 4 pounds. All males.
Thought I would take 1 pic out on the water. That fish was bout 24 inches and probly 4 1/2 pounds but I released it.
Weather was beautiful. Was a little windy but not TOO bad. Warmed up in the 60s out there today. Water temp was 55*. Pretty good day though. 60+ in a little over 3 hours. They're startin to come in.
Thank you LORD, I really needed a day like today. First time out in 3 weeks.
Hey guys, got to the river bout 0830 and was fishi... (show quote)

Did you need to kill that many? I think a little conservation would go a long way

They keep 4 out of 60 fish an that's to many Maybe you need to brush up on your conservation practices That's why they have slot limits So you can take the medium sized ones an the smaller ones will get bigger and the big ones will produce more eggs. Sorry but don't think you're gonna win this argument
