Just now got to add to the post so my buddy is offering me the green predator xl minn Kota for 900 but I have been looking into the bonafide ss107 just trying to figure out which might be a better fit I’m a bigger guy at 270lbs and 6’1”

I'd sit in both of the seats and go with the one that is more comfortable. Seats tend to be the main issue for bigger fellas.

I've been researching a new yak recently. Everything I read makes me want to go for a Bondafide SS107 or SS127.

For a big guy like you, go with something that can handle at least 350 plus pounds!

Before you pay on your choice of kayak, put it in the water and stand in it. You most likely will be standing out on the river and not being stable is not good. Simulate a little wave action by shifting your weight side to side. Other thing to consider is new vs used. Warranty on my new Bonafide SS127 was the determining factor. Used from a friend most likely no warranty. Condition of the bottom on used is something to look at. Was it dragged in and out of water or trailered? Good Luck in your purchase.

Not sure if what you are looking at is a foot peddle yak, but I’d check them out before you decide. They are a world of difference for fishing.

Definitely try it out and sit in it for a long time to check seat comfort and rear end fit. Also, I would look at used and check around and on line for price comps. I have a 13 ft tarpon AND DO NOT USE IT MUCH DUE TO BUTT COMFORT LACKING. I am 235# If planning to go distances get trolling motor or pedals

Nice looking set up spoon, but I hate those noise makers coming across the river. They are just so noisy compared to a V front that the biting stops within the close vicinity of a passing boat like this. I am sure you down throttle and ease your way in to your spot and the noise is minimal, but full throttle rather loud.
