When I was coaching Little League I saw this coming parents thought these kids had to have ever thing and didn't have to work for them.
Like they thought thier kids should get trophy at the end of the year no matter what age they were
.
And now these kids are Adults and alot of them think every thig is owed to them with out hard work !!
The wife and I were on the board for 5yrs and I managed teams for ten yrs. I'm old school , and coached old school !! Had alot of good teams and some so so teams I could not coach in these time's today !! And look at some of the Aldults we have to day !! The youn men I coached have families 👪 and when they see me I always get a think you fore being their coach.
How is the family doing??
Are prayers 🙏 are still with them.

I hear ya Andy. It’s a different world today for sure. If I’d have told an elderly gentleman in the isle at the grocery store to “get outa my way old man” like I’ve seen and, actually, had done to me???? I’d still be nursing wounds from either the old man or whoever I was with at the store. Now the parents just let them do it and actually stick up for them if anybody says anything to the kid.
The family is doing well considering the circumstances. Just talked to my son a couple days ago and he said he don’t think it’s hit home with the daughter-in-law yet. Harder times to come I’m sure. She was very touched by the, overwhelming, condolences and support from the stage. She just couldn’t believe there are so many nice people left in the world today.
