Leave it to a wife to remind us of our mortality. I hope you hit them long a straight!

I went to lowes to get 3 bags of cement, cashier asked if I could use help loading. 3 young men and a young woman were nearby. All the men took off and left the young lady to help me. I was disappointed with the men and impressed by the lady. I know that modern kids are different than when we were young. I would never think of letting a woman lift heavy things while I was around.

That’s sad

I’ve been wanting to knock this out for a while. Got some small rock few bags of Portland cement and sand. Got it done in a couple hours. Went down to the local rock quarry with my trailer and got one ton of sand. Minimum unit they sell in. I’ll put leftover some in the garden to help break up the clay. I’m on a roll this week. Installed fence post right into cement. Wheelbarrow is poor man’s cement mixer. Trailer is now empty wife says “you sure your going golfing tomorrow “ me” Aleve will kick in on number one hole. Wife says” you know your not a young chicken anymore “

Labor intence work. Just a tip, when mixing cement in a wheelbarrow put about 4 to 5 " of water in the wheelbarrow first and then add your mix. It's just easier to mix up. Good job on your wall.

Where do we start on today's youth? Pathetic on the boys part and they're probably pointing and laughed about it.

I guess I'm just lucky! Both boys 21-25 are always ready to help, Granddaughter is in the Coast Guard, giving directions, from San Diego, to her brothers.

Mite not be the kids fault. Look at the enlightened attitude of the social experts running things.

I stated that wrong and apologize. I made a generalization about young people and that's not fair. My comment was not about young adults who are respectful, responsible, and all around good people like yours. Our children are 32, 30, 29, 27, 24. They are all respectful citizens as are yours.
