Go fishing when you can cause itβs good fer ya. Love the videos
I like watching Richard Gene the fishing machine, He gives great tips on fishing, Plus he is very entertaining. Because fishing is good for Ya'.
A lot of people like to watch Gene. On Youtube alone, he has well over a quarter million subscribers. No way of knowing how many non-subscribers watch his video's.
Gene is just a good old country boy who loves to fish heβs a good multi species guy that knows how.

Anyone remember R. V. Gaddis 'Gadabout Gaddis', the 'Flying Fisherman' ? Was on TV in the New York area in the 1950's- 1960's'.
Gadabout was the man when I was growing up in MA. Occasionally I'll mention his name in a fishing conversation, and people look at me like I have 2 heads. π

I watched a lot of his videos, knows what heβs doing when comes to Crappie, Catfish, Bass Iβve even seen him go after Trout in Tennessee. Likes to fish with ultra lite gear, Iβve seen him land 4-5lb bass with 2# test line he even has 1# test on one of his pole that he uses for Crappie. When you watch him he likes to instruct you on how to search and catch the fish he is targeting, really enjoy his videos.
I Rember him Iam in my70s like you tried to watch it ever weak in

Those spoons were sold as a promotional stunt I believe for either a gas station or Liberty mutual insurance. They were before my time of watching Gadabout on tv.
My youngest brother and I have enjoyed Richard Gene the Fishing Machine. Informative and entertaining. The Red Skelton of fishing. When we were kids, my Dad and brothers and I watched Gadabout Gaddis on either Saturday or Sunday afternoons, I think right after Wide World of Sports.
