Either way, nice trout from any location. Welcome back Fin. Haven’t seen you post in a while. Probably just me. Still smoking your catch of the day?
Four I'm still fighting cancer and chemo messed up my heart. I've been fishing 3 times since last fall. Yesterday I was fishing and caught 2 which will go on the smoker.

Thanks prayers are appreciated and I am gaining ground. My body could only stand 2 rounds of chemo but I'm still doing imenotherpy. 2 rounds of chemo took every hair in my body. Now I've got fuzz on my head and a 1/4" goatee Tight lines 4🎣

Nice gp45, that would certainly make my day. Were you able to net them from a low bridge or was it hope they make it scenario?
Just an FYI: Using a wide west coast type crab ring with regular small web fish net can be lowered off a bridge and used as a landing net. Leave tied off just above the water until you need it. Then it is ready to go.

That’s how we do it down here. 👍
I was able to reel these in. Other more experience”bridge fishermen” swung there catches up easily. I have torn rotary cups in both shoulders, so that’s not an option for me.
I’m looking for net’s now.
Same here shoulders are messed up and unless it is a bluegill or crappie I have to have a net. Also don't lose many fish. I bought a frabil, I think it is, rubber net and it makes getting the lure, especially a crankbait loose from the net easier. I was catching schooling White/Hybrid bass and the action was fast and furious. I had a nylon net that I had to cut up and wound up cutting the lure off and tying on another. I think EGO makes a variety of nets that are PVC coated.
The bridge I was referring to is in Howard Franklin Park. There is a 1/2 mile rd that runs out to the beach. There are two bridges on that road. I fish the 2nd bridge.
Where I was fishing the size limit is 25” - 19”. The number limit is 3 trout on the left side of the bridge and 5 on the other side. The county line must run down the middle of the road.
Most game wardens won’t fine you if you have 5 fish.
I don’t trust that (they may be having a bad day and fine me). I take 3 fish and give anything more to fishermen not reaching their limit.
