Google "fly fishing snaps", very small, might solve your problem.i know people with vision problems use them, tie one knot, fish all day!!

Use the snap swivels. Can't count the number of fish that forgot to be afraid of the things.

I use a duolock snap, not a swivel for fall fishing for stripers on fish under 10 pounds where I live. I change lures a lot if I know the fish are there but are not biting for whatever reason. I change to tying directly to the lure in the spring when the BIG fish come through because having an extra piece of hardware on your line can cause a reason to fail. Also, do not use a snap when throwing a rattle trap or anything with trebles as they tend to get hung up.
