Yeah it can be hit n miss sometimes. Those browns wouldn’t hit any type of bait but mixing in different lures was the ticket. Aggressive good fighters. I use ultra light gear so it was extra fun

Worth a try, especially during the spring, summer, fall months. They plant that whole area a lot

Yes. Have you ever fished Hat Creek? They plant it once a week in the summer. People know which days and they go there and just slash away trying to catch all the plants. I think they do a pretty good job of it too....

Yeah have fished hat and over by Cassell. Mostly I fish upper Sac by Dunsmuir. Great trout fishing once u learn the spots
