Somebody there has a boat just like I need and the price isn't bad. But I really can't go look at it to be positive.
Plus I really couldn't pick it up till May.
He hasn't contacted me yet to tell me anything else I have questions about.
However the boat seems to be exactly what I've been lookin for.
If you go on craigslist for Minneapolis and look at the 2012 Tracker Targa 18 footer for 22 thousand OBO in Forest Lake that's the boat I'm talkin bout.

That does look like a good price on that boat assuming it's in good shape. They are retailing new for $37k!

Well I would advise buying it and the Trailer at a Police station. i just don't trust Craigs list that much on high dollar stuff.

I can tell you a true story where this is a good idea.
A buddy of of mine collected round body Chevrolet Trucks. He had a tow truck so many of them he got for simply hauling them off.
One truck he had needed the VIN number inspected at a State Police station 🚉 when he tried transferring the title into his name. So he took truck on his trailer from DMV to the State Police. The cops said you need to unload the truck and leave it here.
He is like huh… why? Well turns out the truck was not a big deal but it had a bunch of documented Blasting Caps and Dynamite 🧨 in it when it was stolen years before.
He unloaded the truck and asked the Cops to assist him in going back to the person that he had bought it from for 500 or 800 bucks. They gladly assisted him to figure out who had the truck but more importantly investigating where the Caps and Dynamite is located.
