has anyone thought about using the fish Oil caplets on lures or baits? I have thought about it but have not tried it yet.
I have a bunch of soft plastic soaking in fish oil from caplets won't be able to try them until the spring then ill do some experimenting
I tried a nasty little procedure last year. After I fileted a mess of crappie I put the remains, less the intestines, in a gallon zip lock bag. I next added about 15 assorted plastic baits & let them soak in the wonderful juices for over a week. I did catch crappie on the scented baits but I could never say I caught more or bigger crappie than untreated baits. Just adding a crappie nibble to the jig hook or soaking in garlic is far less messy than soaking in fish remains. I always save the crappie ribs & heads for catfish bait. Tight lines.

Have a great day good year fishing

Hi Andy, is that a pollution concern? I would rinse my reel after surf fishing then give it a shot of wd. Trying to avoid that salt line at the top of your spool you don't see until you change your line.

Tons of info on this website about crappie and the equipment used to catch them.
https://www.crappie.com/I like using this along with nibbles for catching Crappie. Itโs Bobby Garland MoJo slab jam. Itโs about $5. It really does glow.
