I’ve posted it before. When I discovered it I thought it looked like “Gods secret paradise “

Too far north for moccasins. We do have a water snake that looks like the moccasin but isn’t poisonous. Similar looking terrain in different parts of the country have different creatures. I was in the army in Virginia and layed down in a field that looked like Connecticut but I was sure surprised when I got covered by chiggers which we don’t have in Ct.

Yep! My grandfather came from South Carolina. He would tell me stories about growing up there and the difference between the two places. He said that S.Carolina did not have grassburrs, goat heads(thorns) and all manner of things that stick or cling to you. Just Sayin...RJS

I saw something about slug like worms that dig into and under your skin. It was out west. Texas?

Yes, I believe you are referring to ring worms. They are easily treated and I haven't heard about any since I was a kid. Just Sayin...RJS

68*F on Tillamook County beaches last Saturday, no wind, lots of tourists from Portland but still enjoyable. Paradise is where you find it.
