Hmmm, wonder if my Grandson still has his Ironman combo we got him when he was 3?
My Zebco 202 combo came with a wooden handled 2pc rod which was about 4 1/2’ long. That got tossed over 50 years ago.
I will have to ask my kids which ones they had to start with… (probably long gone)

Only thing I see wrong is the reels are not good quality. But what do you expect for 10 to 15 dollars.

I put a descent reel on a dock demon for ice fishing haven't had any safe ice to use it probably take it trout fishing this spring

The other fishing site that I use will have a surf fishing contest and we can only use those little rods. I have the Dock Demon one.
After the fishing contest everybody brings something for the potluck.
Fun times. C&R with pictures with a special tag for that day in the pictures.
