A subscription to Bass Masters. And asking questions here on the stage will bombard you with more than enough info. Search for user name BenBragg he has posted a bunch of really good explanations for a bunch of bass techniques lately. He’s near Dayton and a wealth of knowledge. I’m on the opposite end of the state so I’ve got no local info for you.

No problem. Also hot quote reply when responding to a specific person. That way we all can follow along. Way more people read the posts than contribute.

There are numerous bass clubs, tackle shops in the area including a bass pro shop and a ranger dealer who has several fisherman on staff. Your not far from A. C. shiners Okena oh I may of not spelled that right he makes one of the best jerk baits. It's one of the best kept secrets of pro fisherman.

Spend some time on You Tube. There is plenty of information at all levels of experience. Try to find some ponds , maybe municipal lakes in your area to try your luck. Don't get discouraged-it is pretty early in the year for a lot of action. When it warms up a bit, find a guide that will take you out, maybe a half day at first. Most guides want to be teachers. Be sure to tell him/her/them that you are a newbie.

A lot of fb pages on fishing, find one that pertains to the area you fish. Some have lakes, like Toledo Bend has its own following. The bay here also has their own, etc.

Um, you have joined a group that has a bunch of knowledge and a million years of experience . We might not have fancy pictures all the time , but we are down - to - earth , give good advice , and are not obligated to sponsors telling us what we should or should not say.....My 2cents
