Aah, the pain of bass fishing in the North. Years of fishing I've not caught much bigger and we'd probably out do ourselves in an afternoon in Florida.

Large mouth bass are non-native and invasive in the PNW.

They are pretty common throughout the other northern states.

They are around I’m just point out they are a invasive species and that’s why there are not as many.

They are native to the great lakes, but the bass you pull out of there rarely top 4 pounds.

Yes, absolutely. I know nothing about bass just that they are non-native in the PNW. Since they are non-native the only way for them to spread is by flooding or people putting them in a lake. I think this map will answer your question and mine.

They all count. Big ones and bigger ones. Congrats. Nice bass, perhaps polite bass, maybe even friendly bass.

Waskington State has some awesome largemouth bass and of course the amazing smallmouth. Weather invasive or or native, they are here to stay and they generate a lot of business for the northwest.
Keep after them they do get larger. Hook'm'hard.
Good to see a young lady holding a great fish. Find a fisherman you like and you will never be bored.
