Don't know about you but my mind still has me in the kayak floating down stream hoping that fisher reels in fast.
If it weren't for $$$$ and life getting in the way, i sure could handle more and more fishing. Just daydreaming what it would be like to go anyplace at anytime.
Anybody else ever think the same?

All the time. I went 40-plus years without wetting a line. A day late and a dollar short.
Good one PB, that pic inspires a lot of dreaming, for sure.
I am looking forward to my first outing in the Spring!

Well you are there now gh. Probably still a dollar short like many of us but a hook and a worm will do just fine. It's all in the bait.

Know what you mean OJ. My yak is sitting in the garage collecting dust and sometimes visions of waters like what is in the pic go through my mind wondering what is waiting to be caught.
Sure envy the guys that can get out there in nice weather nearly everyday.
Good thought Plum, it's my standard winter dream.
Nice inspiration , Plum. Friends are moving to Costa Rica...heard fishing is really good there!! Covid rules are lighter there too!

I hope they stay safe. Crime rate there is spiking. Particularly, random homicides. Third world country. Very volatile.
Good thoughts Plum. All the years when I was working, I didn’t have much time to go. Now I can’t wait for warm weather
This is a case where less is NOT more.

Much better thought than there's more to life than working
Probably not Whitey. Anticipation is a good part of it

Gods one Plumb!
Dreams/day dreams about fishing and hunting have kept me going for years, and not just in the winter months.
Always wondered if I had to give up one or the other which one would I choose. Up until about 10 years ago I would have given up fishing, because I lived to go to deer camp in the U.P. Now that I am the last man standing of my hunting camp, I would probably give up deer hunting, as it is just not the Same anymore.
