Well, in the what can go wrong with me now department, the ER put my catheter in wrong Sunday and things backed up on me big time. After 3 hrs in the ER again today with no sign of getting treated, my great urologist got me in, changed the catheter and drained me. I could have kissed him, or at least Jen, his cute nurse.
On the better news front, our Re-fi is closing Friday which will save us big money by paying off some debt and reducing the interest on the loan. Got that call after the doc told me my surgery should be in a couple weeks if infection is gone. Now, if I can sleep some.
Have a good week angling humanoids.
Wow. Well I sure hope the infection will die off.

ER put it in wrong? Sure you didn't go in the door marked ERROR dept?
Glad you got some relief. Prayers continue.

Hope you do get some good sleep now
You're going through a lot. I doubt this will make you feel better but my neighbor was in a similar position as you. Catheter in and out and all the discomfort you're having. It lasted months but he finally had surgery and is better. Hang in there.
Sorry to hear that G but glad they got things straightened up. Hopefully this infection will get under control and they can go through with the surgery. I’ll just keep praying for you brother and hope everything works out
Greg, you've really been through the wringer! We're all hoping that you can get your bladder/prostate issues resolved, and rid of that hose so that you can get back to using IT for what it was meant for!
Greg, so sorry for your troubles, but maybe a glimmer of hope with the refi????

Good Lord, GMan, that black cloud just keeps following you around. I can't imagine how the ER could possibly put a catheter in wrong. That's like tying your shoes. What did they do, stick it up your butt hole? You have my sympathy, Greg.
Thanks guys. Surgery tentatively set for Feb 9 but staff shortages and Covid may delay it. They don't want to have any surgeries that involves an overnight stay. Mine does. We will see what happens.
Yes. That's big right now.
Greg, just tell everyone that the problem with the catheter was that they didn't have one that was long enough.
