Hey everyone! My rod is too big to take in the car with more than 1 passenger and I'm a bit tired of derigging the line to split it up. I've tried pulling it apart and leaving the line sinker and hook on but the line tangles up like a mfer or the line comes off the reel. Does anyone have any tips for how to transport with out causing a 10 minute pain the butt when you put it back together?

Try some velcro straps. Tie it all together maybe.

Is retieing your terminal tackle really that hard?

The title says its a 3piece rod, but I guess the hook and sinker get tangled when he breaks it down. So take them off and retie when you're ready to fish. It's not rocket science.

Maybe there is fishing on some planets other than here. So they could be astronauts planning a mission these days.
