By that time he was probably out of bullets.
About folding your Money.
A guy asked my Dad why he didn't join Mensa, as he knew my Dad was smart. My dad said, "Don't they charge $20 for the test?" Him,"yes!" My Dad,"Well if I am really smart, I would fold up the $20 and put it back in my pocket."
BTW He was the smartest man I have ever known, Common Sense and IQ.

My story, when I was 4 or 5 I went out to the pasture to do whatever 5 year olds do and had to cross an electric fence which I knew was turned off, but when I got straddling it my lovely big brother turned it on ..... well let me tell you son, it was no fun. Imagine this your straddling a wire fence that you can't let go of because your hands can't open and if you could it would hit your,,,,,well you know,
because you had to push down to get across it. So what do you do now, remember this is a "dumb kid" thinking. On top of that he's over there laughing as hard as i am hollering to turn it off. So I see the big tree where the fence is attached so start working my way to it by holding the wire in one hand and pulling the other hand off (not easy to do when your hand is locked on it) and all the time protecting my nads, what little bit of them I had at that age lol, FINALLY after a while he turned it off, damn did get over the fence fast before turned it back on. I have never went near another electric fence I am telling you
When I got older and worked with electrical equipment I wondered what would happened if I had made it to the tree because my plan at the time was to get there and put one hand on the tree then pull the other off the wire and get free. One thing this episode taught me when I had kids was to remember that even at an early age their minds are as analytical as a grownups. Just don't have as much learning/experience to work with.

When I was a kid we had some city cousins. The worst switchin I ever remember is when my cousin started squealing after we told him to pee on the electric fence. Gramma heard it and let me tell ya. We never had em pee on the electric fence again😬. We were used to Grampa getting after us for just about everything. No big deal. When GRAMMA got her hackles up? It was a memorable event. Not good.

That is for sure how Jim Croce saw it.
