The saying that we learn by experience is so true.
Sometimes that experience hurts, but in a way, wisdom well earned.

Good one Plumb and I assume you’re not simply referencing physical wounds such as shown here when I split wood and fell over all the pieces that were much too close where I was working.
Good one Plum and very true but Bk, you don’t have to take it literally

Ouch 😣. It only hurts when you smiled B? If we combine physical and psychological wounds then we probably have folks on the genius level on FS when it comes to wisdom.
B, do you have a friend, neighbor, relative ,,, anybody that can split wood for you from now on?
Gmon Y'all. Does a broken heart count. 😕
Hmmmm…wounds turn to scars…scars show experience…experience leads to wisdom? 🤔
Luckily for me…Chicks dig scars!

Good mornin' plum, and bk, I'll bet you said, some nasty words when that happened, bk, a couple was pretty close to your eye. Was there any wisdom to be learned? A good one, plum, but a day too late for bk, you should have posted it yesterday. Thank you, and have a nice day.

So the scar from under my chin that runs along my neck to behind my ear that I got after Stage 3 cancer surgery helps me gets chicks. Who knew?
Some of these scars are pretty important to me.

Sometimes it's the psychological wounds that can hurt the most, they can cut the deepest.

When I first got it, it really bothered me. I wore turtleneck sweaters in the fall and winter. Now, it's a badge of honor - survival.
