Rainy days and Mondays and when they are as one, “ Yuk “

Going to stay positive though, Tomorrow is another day.

I'll take a few of those mixed rainy Mondays days off your shoulders when it warms back up to the upper 50's and 60's. Makes for a great day of solitary fishing if it's not too heavy. Better weather has a way of popping up here and there unexpectedly throughout the winter if your able to take advantage. You mentioned fishing in N.C. the other day in our conversation. Did you do any winter crappie fishing there?

I found out today just how much trouble it is. Git the starter batteries un hooked and went to pull them out. No go. They don't fit through t he panel in the batt box. Tried all sorts of angles, nope. I'd have to lift the rear deck. Took the alternate and plugged in the on board charging system. The trickle charge should be enough to keep them alive

I have two 31's under front deck n it's a tight fit. Also have onboard charger. Have a single bank charger for start n axillary batteries. If has a conditioning mode on it. Glastron has 3bank charger. I'm hoping boat man calls before spring sets in. I'd like to get a couple shake out runs before I go far 👍

Actually MornI, the trout fishing was good year long down there no matter where i went and would just target them.

In winter time when it was 45* or higher i would take time scouting new waters.

Thanks. Do any fishin on lake Gaston? Am guessin it sees a lot of boat traffic from PWCs and skiiers. Looks like a lot of floating docks that would hold crappie post spawn in the spring.

Isn’t it just another Saturday to those of you retired guys? We can’t do much about the weather, except dress for it and make indoor plans, if necessary. Remember that something benefits from the rain.

Just think of how beautiful it will seem the next time the sun shines.
Have a great day all!

I don't know about the other retired guys, but most days I am not sure what day it is. The holidays screwed up my schedule even more! 🤪
