Having trouble catching trout

Had a great year catching bass, and now that winter is hear I went out yesterday and tried catching some trout in a tiny state stocked slow moving stream. No luck. Tried power bait, salmon eggs cheese flavored, spinners, rapalla minnow, ect. Even some tiny fake worms with garlic spray. Others around me caught a few, I think maybe with cheese. Just letting it sit there with a bobber. Any suggestions would be great. I have the next 9 days off and catching one is high on my bucket list.

Try some nightcrawlers, dip some powerbait eggs in some fresh garlic juice, shiners, minnows, marshmallows I always take a ton of different bate with me and throw different things till I get a hit, and I stick with whatever they are biting that day. Then move to another spot when the bite stops there

Rainbows seem to prefer red worms over nightcrawlers. Also wax worms work extremely well, as do small minnows. Try skipping the bobber and use the smallest split shot you can. Also use the lightest line you can. 2-4 lb. test. Lo Vis green if you can see well enough to tie it.
