Ill be visiting the villages for a week or so in Jan or feb looking for recommendations to fish in the area.

In the meantime, you might Google the FL. Game and Fish Comm. for their fishing report. Also, if you check, you might also Google the local bait houses in that area. Those folks always keep on top of what is happening, and what bait is working. Just Sayin...RJS

This is Rich and I live in the Villages and also have a house on the Harris chain of lakes in Leesburg.(15 mi). Perhaps we can meet and possibly arrange a fishing outing
I have a 23' Hurricane Deck boat/150hp Yamaha.
There are also many lakes, ponds throughout the Villages. Catch and release. Stop at any Rec. center for info.
I live on Lake Griffin 9400 acres, beautiful birds, GATORS, etc. Always a beautiful boat ride with good bass fishing along the way.
