Steelhead season is about to start. The Necanicum River is right there, you have the Klaskinine to the north and North fork Nehalem just to the south. You also have the rivers in the Tillamook area the Wilson Trask and Kilches for salmon. Most people use beads under a bobber or jigs and sometimes salmon eggs for steelhead. Those rivers are also good for salmon in the spring and fall.

Yay, they work for most people but I have never caught a steelhead on a rubber worm but I have seen a lot caught on pink worms. I have caught one on real worms though.
