Yes, I believe miracles happen every day.
Thank You Lord for watching over us, holding us in your hands and protecting us every minute of every day until the day you call us home to be with you. Amen.

Thank you for sharing, FT. I was going to point out surviving otherwise certain death or crippling isn't luck but, as you stated, "blessed" by God. My sister told me, after seeing the damaged plane I was flying and safely landed with most of the top of the port wing missing, "God doesn't want to take you yet!"

Bless you for sharing, sister. I too survived a certian death. On a snowy road in N Idaho in 1982, bringing my daughter and grandson home from his 1st checkup in Standpoint.
Car scidded on 6"slush headed for Clark Fork river 300 ft down. No responce from steering or brake. We had crossed the pullout on the corner and were 3' from the edge. Told daughter to pray and I let go of the wheel and said "Take it Lord". Our Dear Lord put that car right back on the road. My beautiful daughter still lives with me and that grandson now teachers Art in Portland. I thank the Lord for saving us all, Again, and many times since.

Surprise, surprise! God has a mission for every one of us. My personal belief is that we all have a purpose and should be watching to catch on to what it is that God wants us personally to get involved. When that is done, or if we ignore the call to action, he is very likely to cut our stay short and call us.

Believe me, you aren't on this Earth just to enjoy life and have a good time. Some have it good and others are having a difficult time in their lives, but all have a purpose. Do not ignore sharing, loving, and giving where you see the need, and keep your eyes open to the possibilities for those needs that are there. Just Sayin...RJS

The magazine Angels On Earth by Guideposts is full of stories like Fishfulhinking's , most miracles, that happen to everyday people like us. I think you are right Mr Samples.

The story that really got me was a woman pulling out of her driveway with frosted windshield. A semi truck and trailer drove through her car, she and the car were fine all she felt was a breese. All her neighbors saw it happen.

Praise GOD! HE is Truly an AWESOME GOD! An experience like that really humbles you and brings you to your knees doesn't it! GOD Bless You, my Sister in Christ!

Beautifully Said RJS, and let us not forget to pray for those poor souls who think Life is just one big party. You know I have wondered my entire life what it was God wanted me to do here on this earth. And I use to say I was put here to make doctors think outside the box because I have so many illnesses and almost every doctor I have seen for whatever body part they are trying to fix on me always starts out the same, they say out of the 20 or so years of being in this practice I have never seen a case like yours! And I really didn't want that to be my reason for being here because that reason means I will always be in pain. Now I would have to say I am here for two reasons. To make doctors think outside the box (which I definitely have) and to share my testimony of how very real GOD is and to try and touch as many lives as I can with that message. GOD Bless You brother!

Praise GOD and GOD Bless you Brother! My father Robert who was also called Bob was killed when I was 8 years old while flying a plane. He was flying over an inlet and saw some friends on the water on a company yacht and swooped the plane down to wave back at them however they were not waving at him but trying to wave him away from hitting an unmarked power line and the plane hit the power line took the wing out and the plane nose dived into 40 feet of water killing him and the passenger instantly. They said he tried so hard to pull the plane up that he had pulled the throttle out of the plane. They also said that crash broke every bone in his body. He was only 40 when he was killed. My dad had planned to take my mother fishing the next day. Just curious Bob, did you fly after that?
