You're right there, that's how we found the fish years ago, Polaroid and get to know the stream to see where they re holding, worked for me back then and even to a point now bank fishing. Reading the water will make you a better fisherman.

Beautiful spot PB. I could easily lose half a day there…with or without a fishing rod. I would prefer with, though 😉

Wow! from the response to the picture, there would be a traffic jam, both cars boats, kayaks, tube floaters, and waders all trying to get in the right position to get a good cast. Just sayin...RJS
