Hey guys, Brad and I went out yesterday and I forgot my phone AND hearin aids. Brad sent a pic to my email but I don't know how to post it. Doesn't matter anyway, looks just like ALL the other pics I post, LOL.
Started off pretty slow and the fog was pretty thick. Finally started catchin a few and we ended up boatin bout 35. We kept 3. A 20, 21 and 23 incher. Lost several right at the boat including 2 probly 8 pounders. OH well.
I threw my back out Wednesday at Bible study simply by leanin over too far to get my Bible off the couch where my wife set it. Nursin it along so was preoccupied yesterday morning getting ready so forgot phone and H.A.
Ill take pics next time. Back is feelin much better today so it must have been the fishin.

Sorry to hear about your back Steve, but the fishing therapy seems to be working. Glad you found some who did want to play. Thanks for sharing.

Ainโ€™t it weird how those ones we lose are twice as big as the ones we caught? ๐Ÿ˜‚. I caught one one time that was so big i threw it back. Nobody would have believed I caught one that big anyway. ๐Ÿ˜†

No, I don't hardly ever throw it out fishin. Just doin little stuff like bendin over pickin something up off the floor or something else just as minor. Don't understand it at all.

Hope that back gets straightened up soon Saw. I ran heavy equipment for a lot of years and had all kinds of back trouble. A couple years after I moved on to something else,it went away and hasnโ€™t bothered me since. Guess I should have done that sooner. Sounds like you had a good day on the water. Good luck next time out

Sounds like a great day Saw. Take care of that back. I too have back issues. Broke mine in โ€˜99. Luckily it healed well, but will act up now and then when I forget to bend my knees. Glad to hear itโ€™s getting better!๐Ÿ˜Ž

Howdy, Got a question or two:
1) Where did you find the action?
2) Bait or trolling?
3) Incoming or outgoing?
4) Where did you launch the boat?
A few years ago I tried to launch an aluminum boat at the Vallijo public boat ramp and the the was so bad had to raise motor and row back to the dock, so was wondering if they dredged the boat ramp area.
Thanks for info....

Well, we launched at Cuttings Wharf.
We fished down river from the launch.
We were castin Spro Aruku Shad lures fishin around the mouth of the sloughs that empty into the river.
Started fishin bout an hour or so before high tide till bout an hour or so past high tide.
Did catch 1 fish trollin durin the slack tide. All the rest were from castin lures.
I live in Windsor and have never launched other than at Cuttings.
