I do alot of hiking and fishing and would like to know if anyone recommends lightweight waders that can be easily packed up for hiking. Thanks!

Maybe these? https://www.patagonia.com/product/middle-fork-packable-waders-regular/82330.html

Orvis Ultralight waders are 10oz heavier and they don't pack particularly well.

Micro wool long johns under a pair of nylon shorts. They insulate even when wet and pack down to almost nothing. Chances are good that most streams you are hiking to aren't big or deep enough to require full waders anyway.

Honestly any introductory or low-end pair of breathable waders from a reputable company will do. Most waiters are made with the same types of breathable fabric. Usually a membrane that is sandwich between a nylon outer shell and a lightweight liner. Introductory waiters usually have less in the way of buckles, pockets and zippers. You're not going to go wrong if you go with a pair of LL Bean's, orvis, Sims, Patagonia or even reddington's. Another option or add-on is to get a compression bag to carry them in. Carefully roll them up and they will be compact a fairly small.

I have found that when walking really far it is better to pack the waiters and lash the boots to a pack. Right now orvis and Simms are making the lightest waiting boots. A pair of slightly oversized Astral water shoes are also very light.

Think Bass Pro Shops or Cabelas have Cabelas brand, waist length wader length, light weight, waders for about $100.00.
Might check them out.

There you are, problem solved. I find if waders are needed my go to is waist waders. Of course we are still wet wading here in WNC due to temps still 80-90deg weather.

I used to race frostbite sailboats in winter and most of us wore pantyhose. Very warm and won't drag you down if you're in the water. Mike
