A couple of days ago I posted about 2 bows. RJS was intrigued and assumed it was about actual bows as in bows and arrows so I’ve included 3 rainbows and 3 of the longbows that I’ve made. Local cricks are still on fire, I’ve got them all to myself. Don’t understand why no one else is out there.

Beautiful craftsmanship on the longbows! Hat's off to the nice "fish" bows as well! Keep at it while the bite is on!!!

Thanks FY, though I’m no longer able to draw the bows ( thanks to 4 shoulder surgeries) I still like making them.

Beautiful rainbows your a lucky man to have a creek like that to yourself! Thanks for the pictures!!

Awesome long bows!! I would love to see some more pictures of them. That kinda craftsmanship warrants its own post. Do you ever make and sell long bows? I would be very interested in one.

J, I’ve made several for friends for the cost of materials only, at one time thought I’d do it for money but decided against it due to deadlines etc. Now just a hobby with no time restraints.

I’m in no hurry and would love to have and use a handmade bow! I would want to pay for the materials and your workmanship. If you’d considering making me one!! It can take years I’m in no rush.

Could it be the season is closed? Nice bows. I am also have neck/shoulder problems. I can still handle 25# so able to shoot with my 11 year old grandson, but hunting is past tense and a cross bow is just not the same.

Troutman, I’m fishing mostly in the Broadheads up in east stroudsburg, still loaded with trout.
