Thank you
Doing things from my phone are a little different. Being 65 years old might have something to do with it. Lol

Now you are teasing us.

What did you catch that nice looking dinner on and where?

If you do not mind sharing that info?

I am Southern Indiana.
I normally spider rig with double minnow rigs. 3 pole limit here.
I also pull 1/16 jigs with curly tail about .2mph.

Those were caught at friends private lake a while back.
Way too hot around here to fish for anything right now.
Water temperature is still in the high 70’s

Question???
Is it appropriate, or allowed to mention equipment brands, pole types, lure brands, etc on the site.
Not trying to promote anything.
Just might keep others from wasting money on stuff and make their fishing more productive.

As I read the rules just as long as your not selling and if so you reciprocate with a link to this site on yours.

Just to make sure you might check with management.

Others do it all the time share info that is.

Do You Like Fishing?
You've come to the right place.
Read below:

Among our users, we have some of the most experienced fishermen in the world share advice that you won't find even in the most expensive subscription magazines. That's because some of them only post on our website, so you won't find this information anywhere else! And you get to discover techniques that will make you very good at catching fish.

Unlike other websites, we don't try to pitch gear while collecting sales commission. We don't sell tutorials, books, videos and courses while promising that you'll improve only if you buy what's being promoted. We promise that you will get better without you ever having to pay us a penny. Knowledge is supposed to be free.

Instead, our users, who are professional fishermen and serious enthusiasts, some with decades of experience, will share with you what they learned, what gear they use, which products really work and which are useless, which techniques work and which don't.

It's all completely unbiased. Our users simply have no reason to lie to you. They are people just like you.

And we provide a free website for you to read about what exactly made them really good at catching fish. So you get to discover this information straight from the source, from people just like you, not from editors of some magazine or sales reps of some company. It's what makes us different from other fishing websites out there that try to sell you something while claiming they are trying to help you.

• If you ever have a question or need help, you can always ask, and we'll cover your question in the following newsletter issue.

• And of course, it's all completely FREE!

• Let me repeat that. Since for some reason a lot of people contact us asking if the membership is really free: we are a forum for fishing enthusiasts, so we don't sell anything, and we don't charge any fees. It's as simple as that.

Here is how to proceed and what to expect:

Enter your name and e-mail address below, and you'll be instantly added to our fishing mailing list. You'll receive a one-time confirmation e-mail. Right after that, the first e-mail with today's newsletter will be forwarded to you. The signup process is completely automated, so you are just a few minutes away from discovering what our existing users already received earlier today. You'll get up to speed right away on what's the latest on our website, without any long introductions or other delays.

And if you don't like what you are reading, you can always unsubscribe. Just like subscribing, the unsubscribing is done automatically instantly. So you have nothing to lose by checking out our newsletter.

Sorry guys, I have forgotten the last time I caught a crappie. I think it was back in the early 70's. They are around here but I never fish for them. However, a lot of people do. I should try it again, just for shi!s and jiggles.

Forgive me if this post shows up twice, I am new to this site, and have just been reading all the forums, and enjoying learning new things.
Anyway, I was in a Bass Tourney last weekend 9-28-19 on a lake that crosses from NJ into NY
( Greenwood Lake ) I caught two small Bass and this Crappie that weighed almost as much as both Bass.
1.7# crappie..
That's all I have for now..
Keep up the good work..
