Have you ever actually written down a top 10 list of things you have learned from fishing? Here are mine
1 gas up your vehicular and boat the day before you go fishing and wash your hands a few extra times. 2 don’t use a lot of after shave or cologne before a fishing trip 3 carry an extra life jacket you may save a fishing trip or a life! 4 carry 2 o 3 small plastic trash bags. I was in the Army 1971 -1974 and when you are fishing or in the woods you are required to clean up your area before and after. You could get an Article 15 and cost you cash. 5 double ck safety chains and your hitch 6 carry lots of water and drinks. I don’t drink but in my opinion boating - fishing and alcohol don’t work out very well. 7 ck your drain plug before you launch the boat and carry an extra. Has anyone done this? Yea me too 8 ck your spare tire pressure and if going on a long trip more than 25 miles take 2 spares 9 whenever you stop at a rest area walk around the rig and look it over 10 be more courteous on and off the water. These are my tips sometimes forgotten. 9

Note:Part of the backseater's duties are to ask if the plug's in before launch! ALWAYS pay your share of expenses!

That would be nice if that happened. I trust nobody with the plug. I've had backseaters that act like they're doing you a favor by going along. Including my own cuz. Took him to Bass Pro 120 mile round trip then 70 mile round trip to the river. Not even a cup of coffee n a sandwich.
