try a tiny yellow panther martin w/ red spots. fish it slowly.

Try some other colors. I like silver, gold, and brown trout Panther Martins. Try a red and white Daredevil or a gold or silver Al's Goldfish spoon.

I find blade speed some times makes a big difference, the Panther Martin spins fast and a Mepps spins much slower. Blade color does make a difference as well as size. I personally like to use Matins and Mepps, size 0 and 1. Brass color is my favorite.

Welcome to the forum Jake. The yellow panther martins are a great suggestion. Daredevles in hammered brass or hammered silver have always worked well for me too. Vary your selection of colors and sizes and you will find what works best where you are.

Spinners n spoons will work very well for trout
Conditions where n how u fish them is equally important .
Streams I use both but get 95% of my big trout those over 5 #’s on spoons !
Spoons more easily match current depths and speed .
Learning how to fish both correctly you do not reel but simply roll over bottom , spinners will not be as snag free as the spoons which seldom get hung up due th the way they swim !
In any case current , depth , water clarity among other issues can govern which to use , when .
I fish the same spoon in several sizes and always match action to depth and current , very important to get the biggies !
Color changes can sometimes be helpful but always make sure you are using correct size to get the job done
