What is your favorite braid? (Brand, test, color)

I was trolling today and came up on some rapids/logs/technical stuff and had to focus on maneuvering the boat. When I got through it I looked over just in time to see the end of my braid come off the spool of the reel and the light mono behind it snap. It got snagged on something and I lost my favorite spinner and all of my braid. I’m now looking for some to replace it. I had suffix 832 20lb lime green on it I got along with it ok, except after about a year the very end lost its color, which isn’t a deal breaker. Rod is a scheels guide series 6’6” MH fast baitcast with a abu black maxx 6.4:1

Really like Berkeley X9, used power pro in the past and was satisfied but the Berkeley is a step above.

stick with the 832. I have it on 5 of my reels (different #'s) I don't use a backer I spool all braid. My quantum 20 blue runner reel has 10# 832 that is 5 years old, no problems.forget about the dye loss. good move is to clip about 5 yards off at the end of the season as that's the area most likely damaged.

832 is my very close second choice.
First is Seaguar smackdown in flash green.
I’ve tried a lot of braids and these are my top choices

Suffix 832. Half the price of Seaguar smackdown and has performed flawlessly. Color loss is a non-issue because I use hi-viz with a flouro leader.

I have been using JOF Braided Fishing line for years and I have not found any other line I like better. I Use 30# or 80# depending on what I throw.

Been using the diawa 8x j-braid 8# test dark green on 4 different ul setups for 3 years now. It's been a fantastic line for me that will cast a 1/64th OZ jig for crappie & bluegill. Or using simple drop shots catch up to 28" catfish. The last couple feet of line does discolor with prolonged use. That doesn't bother me & I use that as an indicator to cut the line back and reset the snap or leader.

I've had 1 failure in 3 years with this line, it was my fault from not doing routine line maintenance and going 3+ months without cutting the line back and re-tying a new snap.
