This is the bluest I've seen our skies in months. They must have gotten some fires under control out west. We've had gray in the sky even on the clearest of days.

Bluebird skies for sure! Catching anything in that cement pond?

Beautiful day here as well Flytier, beautiful backyard.
Sorry for the smoke, mismanaged forests resulting from spotted owl protection. I, unfortunately, live in NorCal. All summer we’ve been surrounded by major fires… today is the first day in over two months that we’ve seen blue skies. Our air has also been rated hazardous for most of the summer. After 5 years, my asthma has returned. I’m not a Californian, just retired here. My wife and I are selling and leaving Newsome’s stronghold state…
I do feel sorry for anyone who has to endure conditions like that. It was bad enough here to be annoying, but not quite hazardous. Noone should have to live with that.
Thanks Flytier, the only good that came of it was convincing my wife we needed to leave… Arkansas is our choice. Bull Sholes, lots of fish!
