Great song by a great quartet. Only Don and Harold (the lead singer and the bass singer) were brothers and their last name was Reid. There wan't a Statler in the group.
Nor were the 'Righteous Brothers'
last name 'Righteous' - they originally started their careers as a duet under
a different stage name, when several black Marines from the El Toro Base stood up and called them 'righteous brothers', whereupon they then adopted that moniker as their
stage name !

You are what you choose to be! Each of us could be in the 'dumps' and feel miserable, but we choose not to feel that way, and go on with life.
I probably would have gone nuts during the Covid quarantine if it had not been for Fishing Forum/Stages.com. But being able to have this window of access to fellow fishermen, their stories, jokes, and sharing, it was a pleasure. Where else could I have shared all our stories? Just Sayin...RJS
And all your stories have helped me through this also. Thanks, Gordon

Just a matter of taste ! Different strokes for different folks ! Many
of their tunes made for some
very romantic evenings, especially when out dancing (or spoonin'
in the back seat of the car) !

Won't dispute that.......It's laughable looking back on that
I think I would consider myself pretty outgoing and social. I don't mind being part of a big group, and I am also fine as a "loner" too. I retired early, and 99% of my local friends are not available to team up with during "prime time" weekdays, so I end up being a solo adventurer most of the time. Actually, it does make it easy for planning...or last minute changes to an outing...because there is nobody else to advise!
I don't have to be "right" about anything to be happy and content. I may have opinions, but I also respect the opinions of others as well.
By the time I was 16 years old, our family had "moved/relocated" 16 times. We were not military folks, but my father's occupation with Motorola (2-way radio communications) as a "new office" set up man had us on the move constantly from town to town all over Michigan. My mother often enjoys telling the classic story of when we would arrive at a new home, I would immediately be out canvasing the neighborhood, going door to door, asking people if they had any kids that could come out and play.

The Righteous Brothers? Or the Righteous and the Statlers?
This is the same character who
was making rude, insulting remarks
and being grossly disrespectful a short time ago ! If this is how he's going to be on here, then maybe he needs to follow certain others who
have been on this Forum briefly, and for the same reasons !
This isn't that kind of Forum, as
was stated earlier - people who
can't get along and/or are harshly critical of everyone and everything posted can go elsewhere, as they're not welcome here ! Yes, we sometimes disagree, but no one
gets deliberately insulting about
it - those who do are soon gone !
That kind of attitude or behavior
will not be tolerated on this Forum !
