I’ve been bank fishing for the past 6 months and I’ve been itching to get onto the water. I was thinking of getting a jet ski / boat but that’ll mean I’d have to buy a truck as well. I made a decision to spend a year on a kayak, which I can easily carry on my Honda Civic. After reading multiple reviews I ended up picking up a LifeTime Angler kayak, I was wondering what are some good beginner mods? Willing to hear all suggestions.

A small mushroom anchor can be helpful. You'll need the anchore, some pulleys, line and a cleat or line grabber to tie off. I also added bungees to hold my paddle to the side of my kayak when I am fishing and I use a paddle leash so I don't lose it if I accidentally let go of it. Some rod holders are handy as well. Lots of good ideas on youtube if you search for diy fishing kayak, mods, etc.
