Suggestions for a pan fish rod and reel.
Want to buy a good pan fish rod. Emailed support at Abu Garcia asking for suggestions but have yet to hear back from them for a few days. So thought I would come here and ask. If possible could I get a spin and bait set up suggestions? Thanks in advance.

My favorites are the Daiwa Spinmatic or Presso UL rods. The Spinmatics, especially, aren't ridiculously pricey and they are pretty good rods. I love panfishing with those ultralights.

How much do you want to spend? On the more budget oriented side I'd go with an Okuma Celilo 7' ultralight pair with a Pflueger Trion in the 20 size. If you want to spend more, look at a Fenwick HMG 7' ultralight with a Penn Fierce III 1000. Both will also be fine combos for smaller stream trout.

I use micro light Quantum rods and various reels.
I'm like eastern oz , I use micro light rod by shakespeare. And different reels. Also like my ultralight ugly stick for pan fishing. Ive had it about 25 yrs and Its had a bunch of different reels over the yrs.
Before spending a ton of cash. Buy a 20 to 40 dollar 8ft flyrod. A 20 dollar mini oven bake real. Line with 4 to 6 lb test and have a blast. Every fish feels big on a limber flyrod. That is the set up I have used for yrs.
Open bake. Darn computers anyway lol
Ok. When I push send it changes open nail to open bake. Lol
Ok. When I push send it changes open bail to open bake. Lol
Well if you dont take my advice at least you got a good laugh.š
