I would like to know if anybody on app has been fishing on the Umpqua or Siuslaw rivers for Salmon lately and how is the harvesting of fish?

I hope you get good, ethical information from that area. Good luck. I haven’t fished those places for years but I’ll bet there’s a few to be had if the season is open. My experience with fisheries in that area was the season’s usual had an emergency closure just about the time fishing started getting good.
I live on the east coast now however I fished the Sisulaw estuary for over 25 years. I have a friend who fished with me, he has getting some activity every trip. He said there are over 10 guides fishing there so it must be good.

My cousin Guy guides on the Umpqua and says the fishing is good (Valley Boy Guide)

My cousin fished the Siuslaw 2 weeks ago for tow days. Never got a bit.
I live in Florence and have been fishing off the rocks by the dump, near the Coast Guard Pier and have not had any luck so far. I've only seen a few Coho caught. It is slow compared to last year
Thanks, looking for any reports any time.
