So many great movies. I don't lock myself into a corner. But I noticed that no one put Friday the 13th down. LOL

I was a Freddy Kreugar fan, Elm Street.

'Goodfellas' was a great movie,
but since it revolved around Henry
Hill, they didn't (or couldn't) do
justice to DeNiro's character,
Jimmie Burke !

I read the book 'Wiseguy' (basis for
the movie) several years before the movie came out, and Jimmie Burke was a much bigger bad-ass than
how he was portrayed ! Definitely
NOT someone you'd want to piss
off !

Spirit you have Subic Bay in here, but did you remember S**t river you crossed going into Olongapo empties into Subic along with many other such rivers or streams?

I gave this movie thing some thought, here's my list in no particular order in terms of a favorite:

- Rocky
- Rocky Balboa
- The Karate Kid
- Tombstone
- Dead Poets Society
- Patch Adams
- Saving Private Ryan

Pretty much anything with Hanks or Eastwood in it but that puts the list way beyond 7.

Oh, since I'm a sports guy, Field of Dreams and Rudy. If you can get through the ending of those two without crying, you are tougher than most or there could be something wrong with you. Lol.

🤔. I guess I don’t watch movies much. Now ask me about my top 7 places I’ve explored and that’ll be easy.

The Shepherd of the Hills
Once upon a Time in the West.

Favorite Sports Movies

Bull Durham
Raging Bull
Rocky
Million Dollar Baby
The Natural
Hoosiers
A League of Their Own

Had a hard time limiting it to seven. The Wrestler and White Men Can't Jump are both very good sports movies. And the best movie ever about bowling - The Big Lebowski. Is that even a sport? You tell me. If it is, then that may be the sports movie to end all sports movies.

I forgot about White Men, Hoosiers and Bull Durham. Tough to keep a list to 7.

Funny - I'm not much of a sports
fan (except for football during the
play-offs and the super Bowl), as
my sports growing up were hunting, fishing, skiing and skating (NO hockey) ! What's funny is that I'm
not a fan, but I've watched movies
about sports, like Major League
I & II, The Longest Yard, and all
those you've listed except Hoosiers !

Two sports you'll NEVER see at my house are basketball and soccer !
Can't stand either one ! Bull Durham wasn't a thrill, but I did like Field of Dreams, and one good skating
movie was The Cutting Edge !
