going to Outer Banks, suggestions? Hi all, I'm going to the Outer Banks, NC Thursday for a week. I know there are fishing piers and I'm sure there are probably areas for surf fishing.

Hi all, I'm going to the Outer Banks, NC Thursday for a week. I know there are fishing piers and I'm sure there are probably areas for surf fishing. Anybody have suggestions? Also, just my friend and I will be fishing. Thinking about a charter, but not just for the 2 of us. Do they do split charters with another group of 2 or 3? Any help would be appreciated. Promise I'll send pics, if no fish scenery and pretty girls, LOL

Yankee what part of IBX are you going to. I always stayed in Kitty Hawk Kill Devil Hills area. I did fish from corolla to Hatteras point. All of the piers where i went there produced at the right time. I preferred Jeannette pier. Oregon inlet area was good surf fishing. Hatteras point was always good. If you've never been there ckeck outthe lighthouses inthe area. Oregon inlet has a marina where charters go out. Have fun n good luck brother🎣🎣🎣

Thanks Grizz, I meant to put in where we're staying. We have an airbnb in Kill Devil Hiils. Guess you know the area. Appreciate the advice, will check it all out.

Haven't been there in a long time. Use to go at least once a yr. Pea island refuge area has or at least had a ship wreck no far off shore. You could see part of it. Fish would come in there. I wouldn't wade in the water there. Late 90's bull shark or sharks got a guy n girl snorkelling in the area. 👍👍. Hit the piers on incoming n outgoing tides.

Doing pretty well now, thanks. Just trying to talk some sense into the orchestras that won't let me play because I'm not vaccinated. Makes no sense. Anyone can get it and carry it, not just unvaccinated. I'd be more afraid of catching it from a vaccinated person now that they think they can walk around without masks and not social-distance. I'm willing to get tested before rehearsals and they still won't let me come.

Yankee Kandy told you right about Manteo. I spent many hrs on both sides of the bridge. One side has a area to fish. At time crowded. I like on Manteo side. The boat ramp is there plus a nice flat place to sit a chair n relax. I got my biggest ray ever there. Kandy knows her fishing. Good call Kandy 👍👍
