Loved Visiting Lincoln area a couple years back. Bear notch road was a pretty drive. Wouldn't do on a rainy or nasty day

It's also a convenient shortcut to Bartlett and Crawford Notch if you want to by-pass Conway and North Conway to avoid a lot of the tourist traffic ! If you bear right coming onto Rt. 302, it will take you to Rt.16 North through Jackson and up towards the Mt. Washington Auto Road !

New England, other than Mass has some beautiful places. OK, so does Mass but I spent to much time going into Boston years ago, hated it!

Other than visiting a few relatives on occasion, most of my time in Mass. was. spent in Boston to see movies
or a play, watching a ball game
(once !), and walking the Freedom Trail for the historical interest ! To
me, the Berkshires in western Mass. was probably the prettiest part of
the state !
