Because of the weather I have not taken my kayak out for awhile. Today was suppose to be a great day so off I went. Two hours on the lake and not the first bite. I decided to load up and drive another 6 miles and do a little creek wading. A great decision. I didn’t catch a record amount of fish however I caught fish. Two bluegill, two rock bass , two pumpkin seed, and my largest small mouth of the year.
Wow that’s a beautiful creek that you are on great 👍 job and great pictures perfect choice for the day fishing 🎣 and relaxing

Nice shift to plan B, Papa Jack! Beautiful pictures and creek, and those Pumpkinseed are breathtaking. Thanks for sharing.
I can almost hear that water gurgling over the rocks, with a scent in the air that reckons to be a fishy perfume like mist! Good idea to go with "plan B" and leave the kayak behind for this adventure. Those pumkinseed's are spectacular, and well done on that husky smallmouth bass, along with it's cousin's the rock bass! Thanks for sharing!
Great pics Papa!! Great catching, nice variety of fish there, beautiful scenery, lucky you ! Two of them sunfish look like they could almost be in an aquarium! Thanks for sharing Papa,,,
