How do you convince your wife to let you go fishing?

Just say I'm going fishing, if it's a problem go ahead and pack you bags and don't be here when I get back.
Actually my wife is way cool and never has a problem with doing whatever I want. Recently I wanted to go charter boat fishing and even though she has never fished before once she saw the boat she wanted to go with us. Watching her catch her first fish was worth the trip. A great experience for her and now she wants to book a Ling Cod trip in March. Both the fish and her are keepers. LOL

Diamonds...... is what I offer. We both love to catch a good game if there's one in town, and they usually end early enough that being on the water at daybreak is no problem.

My wife insisted we spend our honeymoon deep sea fishing in Florida instead of Niagara Falls , thought being slamed against every surface of the boat by a 150 lb. Tarpon was really fun. She wound up Black and Blue from the waist down !Got the big Bastard to the boat with a custom Flippin stick I built for Bass fishing , she had it bent double like an ultra lite !

Sense we got married she new my passion is fishing. So before a trip we set our calendars. We agreed to time together- guys timeher time with the girls. It’s working for over 20 years.

Give her a couple of hundred dollars (probably cheap compared to cost of all fishing equip, especially if you have boat) tell her to have a spa day or go shop with a friend. Just blow the bucks on whatever you want. That will buy you time.
