Looking for some ideas here. I have a week off early October and want to go camping and fly fishing anywhere in the US or Canada.

Highly recommend Northwest BC, can be chilly but Big Steelhead, Big Northern Coho, lots of rivers to fish within a couple hrs of Terrace, even more if you have have budget for guides with jet/ drift boats.

Awesome - thanks. I've been to Vancouver but not that area so it would be nice to explore someplace new.

It's an incredible place to fish, weather can make it tough that time of year but not many places you have a decent chance at a 15-20LB steelhead or coho on the fly... some good topwater opps that time of year too... strongly suggest spey rod and a guide if you can afford it... even just for a day or two... really should drift the Kitimat and jet the Kasiks and pretty reasonable especially with those high powered merican bucks.
