Is it a good idea to sand when it dries or leave it. Wont be putting next coat on til Saturday

You need a light sanding between coats. It helps the next coat bond. And takes out any small ridges.

Yes I thought so. Used about 1/2 quart for that coat

Ronnie let it dry real good ya don't want run into problems with the paint not sticking when it is dry rub your hand over it and you' see how much sanding is neccesary sand it up a bit then make sure you clean all the dust off IT or I will get trapped under the next coat and go from there Look in mighty fine but it's up to you how nice you want the finish to look and feel

Remember the better you sand it smooth...the smoother it will finish out. Keep up the good work. Looks great so far.

It will be a few days until I do next coat. Will have plenty of time to dry then I'll sand it before next coat
