A buddy and I were fishing Coleto Creek Reservoir last summer. We were in a secluded part of the lake fishing for large mouth bass. There was a tree with a limb that almost touched the water On the end of the limb was a pecan and a squirrel was running down the limb just as he grabs the pecan a large bass jumps out of the water and swallows the squirrel and swims off with the tail hanging out of his mouth. Being baffled at what we just witnessed we started discussing how we were going to tell this story ............……..............when all of a sudden the bass swims back up to the limb...………. and puts another pecan on the end of the limb. A Fisherman's True Story...………..
Yeah, just like my g/grandpa snagged Moby Dick! Good story. Lol.

Not a lie ...a fisherman's story.
About as good fishing story as ever told good one bro.
Ny dad was fishing along the river in South Georgia from the bank. He had to jump over a small creek to continue up the river. Un-beknownst to him his pocket watch fell out of it's pouch and he realized he lost it when he came home. About a year later he went back fishing in the same place and going up the bank he came to the stream he had jumped over the year before. He looked down and saw his watch in the stream lodged up between two rocks. He fetched it out and saw that it had kept perfect time since the stream had flowed over the stem between the two rocks it kept the watch wound. It was a nice Elgin Pocket watch.
Now that’s a tale. Kids today don’t even know about winding watches and pocket time keepers,
Lol elgin make good watches.
