I've gotten through another day and keeping busy to some extent helps, this morning didnt start out good, tears for over an hour. Had several stops to make starting at the funeral home, took the medication to cvs to dispose of, had a supermarket bag over flowing, I couldn't believe how much meds they had given her, even found more later in a drawer. Sat down with her cousin for an hour then back to the funeral home to sign the funds release form.
Later had calls from my daughter and daughter in law, in Australia, they are supporting me too like everyone here.
I know the weekend is going to be taxing, hope I'm strong enough to not break down. My sincere thanks to my friends on the stage.

Ronnie, I'm SO sorry to hear this sad news. Words alone just aren't enough comfort at a time like this.
Please know that you and your family are in my prayers even more right now.
If there's anything any of us can do, PLEASE pm any of us , even if you just need to talk or to have someone to cry with you. Sometimes that's all one can do is cry with their friend.
My heart truly goes out to you brother in this terribly painful time in your life. Steve.

Thank you Steve, this has devastated me, she was to be my partner for the rest of my life, she was only 62 but took on this old man and we were both happy and in love. 6 1/2 years was too short and now I have to make it alone until I can be with her again.

I grieve with you for your loss.
I cannot express how my heart aches at the thought of loosing your wife.
I lost my Dad when I was 11. I lost our first daughter when I was 24. I can't imagine the anguish of loosing my wife.
All I can offer is for you to know that you can reach out to me anytime you need. I'm always available.
Rest in our Fathers ever loving arms when you feel that you don't have the strength to go on. And have the peace He gives us in knowing that Dora is no longer in pain and suffering.
May God grant you peace and ease your pain.

Ronnie, there is nothing wrong with breaking down. Let yourself be, allow yourself to let your emotions out it is better for your mind and heart. You don't have to be strong right now, at this point it is not even one day at a time it is minute by minute and hour by hour. Tears are good. Don't worry about what anybody else might think, it doesn't make any difference. These first days and all that needs to get done will get done. It is hard to do but it will pass. Your love for Dora and hers for you will see you through it. If you need someone to talk to I volunteer myself, I've already been doing this, for a long time now. My number and email are on Plumbob's list or PM me and I'll give them to you. Your life has changed but it is not over I'd be honored to help if I can.
Sorry for your wife's passing. I know the heart ache.
I lost my first wife in 2004
I'll post a copy of the obituary on here later, have had proofs and made corrections except the have to change her birthdate to 23
Beautiful family, Ronnie. Celebrate her life and your life with her.
God Bless you all.
