My wife had her first cataract surgery on her left eye today, It was the worst one. All went well and she is amazed at how good she can see now without glasses (except for reading up close). Next month their gonna do right eye, it's not as bad as the left one was, it's the first time in 25 years she can watch tv without glasses. She's a Happy woman

Had both of mine done a few years back. Left eye is good enough to watch tv and drive but my right eye has a bad astigmatism and everything is blurry. Medicare won’t pay for that surgery which is stupid. JMHO.
Glad it went well for your wife.
Lynny had one eye done and she got floaters so bad she won’t have the other one done.

I had my worst eye done on the 6th and my other eye on July 27th. I was amazed at what I was missing. the colors were so vivid. They are correcting my Astigmatism in both eyes. so I only have to wear readers for 3' or closer. im wondering how its gonna be tying lures on. with cheaters on....At least now I can see my bobber not doing anything! amazing the stuff they can fix. if I would have paid more out of pocket could of had adjustable ones and no readers. it's relatively new but crazy stuff! best of luck to your wife! πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ³πŸŽ£πŸŽ£πŸŽ£

I had mine done about year ago. I now have 20/12 vision for distance. Eye doc says he can't make letters on eye chart any smaller. I told him I could probably see the seems on 95 mph fastball now but there isn't a big need for 67 year old baseball players. Now, if they could find a cure for glaucoma.

I'm starting to feel a little better about this lens replacement. If my fellow Stage members can do it I can to. It would be good to tie on a hook without glasses.
