I’m interested in fishing for walleye at lake Roosevelt. We have been out a few times and have had little success.
I would like some advice on what to use. We have been using bottom walkers with wedding rings, smile blades, worms. Crank bait. The weather here has been 20-30 degrees above normal for this time of the year. It’s normally 70-80

We fish with him 2 to 4 times a year. He fishes from Kettle to the Hanford Reach. He's a good guy with lots of knowledge.

Years ago I fished the kettle area a lot with good results. We would use jigs with three inch worms (many colors)with 1/4 oz stand up jig heads tipped with a bit of worm.we had many fish that made great shore lunches.hope this helps.

Try using a crawler on a slow death hook on a spinner rig. The slow death hook will cause the crawler to do a slow roll which the fish find attracting. Troll slow, 0.8-1.2 mph. Going with a guide as suggested is a good way to learn tips and techniques. Good luck!

I haven’t heard of a death hook. I’m going to look it up. Always good information. We are still learning.

I got lucky this morning. I got a 3 and a half pounder. Walleye, using a double whammy.
